Social Media Animation Using Kinetic Typography
Kinetic typography is an established way to add emphasis to a testimonial or quote, especially when the deliverable can't rely on high-quality video footage of the narrator. The client wanted to use an animation that would build awareness of their author roster by having each author read a quote from one of their recently published books. This promo showcases one of the authors, utilizing the author's spoken voice and animated typography to draw emphasis to the power of his words.
After the creation of a storyboard and static style frames to map out the design and movement in pre-production, the animation was then created in Adobe After Effects and exported as a web-ready file.
Because this animation was intended for the client's Instagram channel only, Testwood created a square version.
